As well as trying to bring the best user experience and custom profile options that can help define the user and allow them to express themselves. Along side a versatile watchlist to rate their watched or read entrys and share their thoughts on each and every entry they so desire.
Guilds & Community
For our members we hope guilds will help form a friendly community and encourage conversation. Watch calendars allow you to set events and could be used for large events or simply a small friend group gathering once a week to watch their favorite show.
They could also let every know when book club is, what you're reading this week and what days you can discuss new chapters together. Giving everyone a steady pace to work towards together & on your own terms.

Privacy Policy & Data Rights
We take your privacy incredibly seriously. ManifestList operates on a philosophy of transparent data ownership.
- Data Collection: We collect your email address strictly for authentication and account recovery purposes.
- Public Profiles: Any data added to your grid canvas, watchlist, or public blogs is visible to the community unless specifically marked as "Private" or "Friends Only".
- Age Restrictions: We block any 'ecchi' or 'Rated R' content from kids under 18 years of age when they add their birthday either when creating an account or editing it in their profile.
- Right to Deletion: We allow user data deletion. Users have the right to request full account deletion from the Settings menu at any time. A 30-day grace period is enforced before permanent data wiping to prevent accidental loss.

1. Universal Modifications & Acceptance
Welcome to ManifestList. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, databases, and related services. We reserve the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time without prior direct notice. All changes are effective immediately upon posting. By continuing to access or use the site after any changes are posted, you legally accept and agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
2. Age Laws (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)
You must be over the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use ManifestList. In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users under the age of 13 in the United States, or under the age of 16 in the European Union, are strictly prohibited from creating an account or using the Service without explicit, verifiable parental consent. If we suspect or discover that a user is underage and lacks this consent, we reserve the right to delete the account and all associated data instantly and without notice.
3. Freedom of Speech & User Conduct
We highly encourage freedom of speech and expression across the platform. However, ManifestList acts solely as a passive conduit for user distribution. We are not responsible or liable for anything a user does, says, or uploads while using the website. We do not endorse, nor are we responsible for, the contents of user reviews, blogs, comments, or the personal opinions of our users. You use the community features entirely at your own risk.
4. Use of Service & Scraping Ban
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes. You explicitly agree not to use or launch any automated systems, including but not limited to "spiders," "robots," "crawlers," or "offline readers," to access, scrape, or extract data from our databases. Any attempt to artificially harvest data, interfere with server infrastructure, or bypass our security measures will result in immediate termination and potential legal action.
5. Digital Purchases, Subscriptions & Maryland Law
Under Maryland law, we must clearly state that anything you purchase online through ManifestList (including Premium Subscriptions, Publishing Tokens, and Storage Expansions) is a revocable digital license. You do not legally own the underlying software, features, or infrastructure. Premium subscriptions are billed on an auto-renewing basis. If you choose to cancel your subscription halfway through a billing cycle, there are strictly no prorated refunds. If a billing error occurs, you may submit a support ticket for our review.
6. Ironclad Limitation of Liability & Data Loss
To the absolute maximum extent permitted by law, ManifestList’s total financial liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the exact amount you paid to us for the specific service in question. By making an account, you agree that you are not entitled to any compensation whatsoever if your account data is lost, corrupted, or reset. We take zero responsibility for server downtime, software bugs, unauthorized server access (hacks/data breaches), or damages (emotional or physical) caused by toxic users. We will not be held responsible or provide compensation if the servers go down permanently or the website ceases operations.
7. User Content Ownership & Licensing
You retain ownership of the original text, reviews, and blogs you post. However, by submitting, posting, or displaying content on ManifestList, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, modify, distribute, and translate that content across any media formats or channels forever, without any compensation to you.
8. Copyright Policy & Safe Harbor (DMCA)
ManifestList complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We provide a Safe Harbor platform for user-generated uploads (such as profile pictures, banners, emojis, and stickers). If you believe a user has uploaded stolen copyrighted art or material that infringes upon your Intellectual Property, you must submit a formal DMCA takedown notice to our support team. We hold a strict policy of terminating the accounts of repeat copyright infringers.
9. Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. ManifestList cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.
10. Moderators
Moderators on ManifestList (including Community Mods and Database Mods) are volunteers and are not official employees or legal representatives of the Company. While they enforce community guidelines, we reserve the right to overturn, alter, or ignore any action or decision made by a moderator at our sole discretion.
11. Representations and Warranties
By posting content, you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to publish the content, and that your content does not and will not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.
12. Third-Party Websites, Advertisers, or Services
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites, ad networks, or services that are not owned or controlled by ManifestList. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or advertisers. Your dealings with advertisers found on ManifestList are solely between you and the advertiser.
13. Indemnification
You agree by using this Service, to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ManifestList, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal fees arising from your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights (such as uploading stolen intellectual property).
14. Termination.
We reserve the right to suspend, mute, or permanently terminate your account and your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. If you are banned for breaking community rules, you may apply for an appeal, but we reserve the final right of refusal.
15. Data Retention Rights
Even if you request that your account and data be deleted under our Privacy Policy, ManifestList retains the absolute legal right to keep necessary internal records of your IP address, email, and infractions if you have committed fraud, abused the system, or to actively enforce a permanent ban against you.

ManifestList offers seamless ways to promote your content to the community without relying on invasive external ad networks.
Newspaper Tokens (Standard vs Premium)
Standard Tokens are purchased in bundles and allow you to publish a standard article to the Newspaper feed. Standard articles are pushed down the feed naturally as new content arrives.
Premium Tokens grant your article a permanent "Premium Badge", ensuring it stays visible at the top of the queue significantly longer and increasing its reach.
Homepage Sponsored Slots
You can purchase dedicated 300x300 Promotional Slots directly on our Homepage. These slots guarantee visibility for 1 entire week (Monday to Sunday).
Prices drop for the current week if the week has already began. You can attach any previously published article to these slots via the Promotional Calendar in the Newspaper Hub.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help keep ManifestList accurate, safe, and welcoming. There is no minimum or maximum limit to the help you want to give!
💾 Database Moderator
Database Moderators are responsible for reviewing user-submitted edits, adding new entries (shows, movies, books), verifying release dates, updating episode counts, and managing character/staff sheets. If you love categorizing and ensuring information is perfectly accurate, this role is for you.
🛡️ Community Moderator
Community Moderators ensure a safe environment by reviewing user reports, handling toxic behavior, removing spam, issuing warnings or mutes, and monitoring guild chats or public walls. If you want to help keep the community healthy and welcoming, this role is for you.
